ROBTHEBUZZ: January 2016

It's been a while since I last did a post on the blog. Butt then again it's been a weird and tough few month since my last post so here's a rundown of life since then.

My Grandad Bob died August 2015 which really did me over. I was expecting it because he had been ill since the previous December but it still kicked me in the teeth. I managed to hold it together long enough to do the Eulegy at his funeral but man was it tough.

Anyway Here's a photo of my Grandad Bob Glover and I will miss him forever.

After that Kass and I hid away for a while just coming to terms with this loss. Kass also started a new job which took her away from the Vintage Clothing scene full time but as always she is the apple of my eye and capable of dealing with the most stupid of people, even if they are a charity lol.

August 2015 - Britalian Job (Nottingham). Great night but not really in the mood for the band which was a shame as I'd heard some good things about The Quick. We had been meaning to nip up to a Britalian event for ages but this sadly was the last one apparantly. I did have a mess about on the Trent though with Al, Kev and Kass which cheered me up.

October 2015 - Gettin To The Point (Leeds). Neil Lee's event is always an interesting adventure and this new venue had it's moments. The whole highlight of the weekend though was Trish's birthday dinner before hand with the gang and a Birmingham Elvis which had me laughing like a drain. Hat's off to Sean Sexton and Mandy Jarman for organizing the entertainment.
